Filing Period For Appealing Property Tax Assessments Begins on July 2, 2011
The filing period for California property tax assessment appeals begins on July 2, 2011.  For most counties, the assessment appeal filing period continues until November 30, 2011.  But for the following counties the filing period ends on September 15, 2011:  Alameda, Inyo, Kings, Orange, Placer, San Francisco, San Luis Obispo, Santa Clara, Sierra, Sutter.
